The digital revolution and mobility run hand in hand. Technology is revolutionizing the way we communicate in business. We can literally be reached anywhere where there is an Internet connection, whether we pay for that connection or not. More employees are communicating on the go on their personal devices. This concept of Bring Your Own Device (BOYD) is well known these days and accepted by many organizations.
Today we are announcing the capabilities of our upcoming Verint Verba 9.1 release, the first significant update since our recent major milestone, Verint Verba 9.0. With 9.1, we bring new dashboards, data loss prevention capabilities, improvements and fixes, alongside integrations with ecosystem partners and significant platform-wide features.
Over the years, Instant Messaging (IM) has become a staple in communications. Looking back in time, did you know that IM originated in the mid-1960s. Multi-user operating systems were essentially the start of IM. The ability to communicate to others logged into the same machine became useful. Fast-forward to the 1980-1990s, when Commodore 64 computers offered online messaging with the collaboration of Quantum Links online service. They were later known as America Online. In 2000, a new open messaging and presence platform called XMPP (Jabber) was introduced. IM clients have since evolved to incorporate other modalities such as video, voice, web-conferencing, and desktop sharing.
ISI Telemanagement Solutions chose Feed My Starving Children (fmsc.org) as their winter charitable endeavor. FMSC has the mission to feed God's starving children hungry in body and spirit. ISI employees helped hand-pack meals for malnourished children to be sent by FMSC. ISI employees helped pack 75,816 meals. With the efforts of all the volunteers, 207 children will have meals for a year. FMSC partners with orphanages, schools, clinics, and feeding programs worldwide to end poverty. Over 70 countries have benefitted from FMSC’s charitable donations. Initiated by ISI’s TEM Director and Charitable Giving Committee Chair, Michelle Forney worked with the charity and ISI employees to organize a day of volunteering that took place in Schaumburg, IL. ISI is happy to volunteer and support FMSC with their noble mission to end poverty and provide food to the world’s starving children. For more information, visit https://www.fmsc.org.
Reinventing regulatory compliance
Whilst every financial firm faces the same challenges in meeting new regulations and controls, Verint recognizes that not everyone is the same. There are multiple different factors (resourcing constraints, available finance, embedded solutions, rate of temporal change, and differing adoption levels of process automation) affecting how firms approach the issues. By breaking down the solution into components, Verint Verba 9 makes it simple for firms of all sizes to build, manage, and integrate into their existing eco-system. It reduces the risk in transitioning legacy platforms as well as increasing the level of controls.
