Whether your company is big or small, there is a strong chance that your employees use mobile devices as part of their daily work. For this to be effective, it has to be organized, structured, and concise. Be it cell phones or tablets, employees are striving to streamline productivity by having more mobile tools at their disposal. But what does this mean for your company?

Most companies are stuck in a perpetual battle of accepting current technologies, while preparing to learn new ones. When this happens, many will find their mobile solutions are in utter disarray. Managing mobile devices is beyond difficult, especially if a company has a policy for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

This problem is multiplied when adding mobile bills to the equation, which are oftentimes neglected and not properly monitored. This leads to excess charges through erroneous billing or improper management of call and data usage by employees.

Because of this, creating a mobile device management plan of action often plays a secondary role to simply supplying devices to your team. When this happens, many companies end up paying more than they should for their mobile products and services.

The solutions that you think are increasing productivity are also causing harm. It is a catch-22, and in the end, many organizations pay for their mistakes.

In order to resolve these issues, you must gain a better understanding of your billing activity and mobile device usage. If your company has made changes through expansions or cutbacks, there is a chance you may be victim of inefficient mobile management.

Whether it be paying for services that you no longer use, or supporting devices that are no longer being operated, there is a strong chance bills are inaccurate.

Do you have a good process in place to efficiently and effectively manage your mobile devices and services within your workforce?
