Our partner for call & video recording, Verba Technologies, has been named as the first Microsoft qualified Lync audio and video recorder. Verba continues to blaze a trail for how call recording should operate in the telecom world.
After a series of rigorous tests, Verba’s recording solution passed with a 100% record. This means that the software didn’t fail a single test. Being that Verba’s was the first call recording solution to even be certified, it is all the more impressive that Verba did so while receiving such high marks.
Microsoft defines the qualification program as designed to ensure qualified applications meet customer expectations. Simple enough. Here is how Microsoft further elaborates:
The program defines specific requirements for interoperability with Lync Server and Exchange Server, installation, set-up and configuration, documentation, and support. Designed with enterprise-class industry-standards, testing covers performance, reliability, and SDK/API utilization.
“This Microsoft Gold Application Development competency showcases our expertise in and commitment to today’s technology market and demonstrates our deep knowledge of Microsoft and its products,” said Sam Daroczy, Director of Business Development, Verba Technologies. “As a partner, you can be sure that your end customers will receive high quality products, service and support from Verba.”
Microsoft’s clear goal with the qualification program is to establish a quality standard for third party applications. Infortel Select, our call reporting solution, has also been certified by Microsoft Lync 2013.
