Chicago was the site of Microsoft’s inaugural Ignite conference that ran May 4th through May 8th, and hosted over 22,000 IT and technology professionals. Ignite is an opportunity for Microsoft to share updates, improvements and new releases developed around Exchange 2016, SharePoint 2016, and of course most integral to ISI, Skype for Business Server 2015. The attendees were welcomed to sessions that ranged from introductory level to deep dive status and were lead by experts in their respective fields.
Microsoft has slated the public release of their updated and rebranded Lync application, Skype for Business, for April 14, 2015. The service comes bundled with Microsoft Office and is able to combine the unified communications platform— instant message, video, presence — with voice to allow for complete interaction functionality within a familiar customer interface.
We’ve just released a solution guide designed to assist organizations with understanding compliance needs for all unified communication efforts.
This solution guide tackles the issue of compliance across many different verticals. Mandates have become increasingly strict not only for the financial industry, but healthcare, government, and education as well.
