Q. How do I schedule reports?
A. For More Information, click to see the Reports Quick Reference
Guide: Reports for the Client
Server version. Click here
if you have the Web version.
Q. How do I set-up Infortel Select to be able to email reports?
A. If you have the Client Server version of Infortel Select, please refer to the E-mail Messaging section (page 163 of the User's Guide) found on the User's Manual CD. If you have the Web version, please refer to the E-mail Tab section (page 79 of the User's Guide for the Web) found on the User's Manual CD.
Q.When I create a report and try to save the report parameters, why do I not have the option to "share the named report settings" as my Manager does?
A. This option will only display for those with Administrator level access privileges. The Administrator can create either personal or shared settings. The shared settings are available to anyone with proper access privileges. The Non-Administrator can create only personal settings. The "Share this report to all users" check box is not available to the Non-Administrator.
Q.When I run an Organizational Report, I want to see every user's name on the report, even though they do not have phone (fixed) charges or call activity. Currently, I only see users who have some type of fixed charge or call activity.
A. To enable this option, from the Control Center, under Administration, click on System Configuration options. Double-click on Misc. System Options 1; check the second option to include users with no charges or call activity in Organizational and Tenant Billing Reports.
Q.When I run an Organizational Summary Report, users with no charges or call activity are not on the report. Is there a way to include the users on the report? (Select 7.1)
A. Yes. Once you have selected the organizational summary report, in the report parameters, click on the Advance tab. Click on the box next to "Includes users with no call or charge activity".
Q.What are Call Traffic Reports under Organizational Reports? (Select 7.1)
A. Traffic reports are designed to be used for Exception Reports. For example: long duration, time interval, etc. Call traffic reports run faster because they do not include fixed charges or other charges in the report query.
Q.When running an Organizational Detail Report, what is the purpose for the report filter Detail Include Call Type? (Select 7.1)
A. This filter is also available on Tenant Billing reports. This allows you to include detail only for some call types but have all call types included in the summary. In order to see the summary on all call types, click on the Advance tab and than click on the box next to "Display summary at section end".
Q.When I run a Summary Report, my only export format choices are PDF, RTF and HTML. Is there anyway I can save it to Excel format?
Under General reports, you cannot save a report to Excel. Only the formats mentioned above are available, although you can save a report in HTML format and open the report in Excel. (With this method, no formulas, etc. will be available.) Alternatively, from the Control Center, if you click on File, Export Summarized Data, you can create an export and save it in Excel format.
