Q. How do I schedule reports?
A. For More Information, click on the Quick Reference:
Reports.
Q. I am seeing on reports that toll-free calls are reporting as long distance. How do I change that so I only see my true long distance calls?
A. First step, in Control Center, click on Administration; click on System Configuration Options. Click on Manage Call Type Names; click on Run. Double-click on Current Name Column and rename User Defined 1 to Toll Free. Rename the Abbrev Column from USR1 to TOLL. Click OK to exit screen; click Exit to return to Control Center. Second step, in Control Center, click on Administration; click on Pricing; click on Billing Descriptions. Click the Description you wish to change to; click on Edit. Click on Toll Free; click on Edit; click on the drop-down arrow for Report As and change to Toll Free. Click on OK to exit the screen and save changes. Click on OK at the Billing Description Definitions screen, and finally, click Close to return to the Control Center.
Q. We are able to track internal calls (also known as station-to-station or extension-to-extension) in our Phone System (also known as PBX). On reports, I see the calls posting on the initiating extension and would like to know if the calls can post on the terminating extension?
A. In the Control Center, under Administration, click on System Configuration options. Double-click on Other Options (keep in mind, this option applies to the selected site only; to change this option for another site, select the appropriate site before continuing). Check the box to post internal calls on the terminating extension.
Q. An employee received a harassing phone call. When I run reports, I can see the incoming call to that extension, but I am unable to see the Caller ID information.
A. If the Caller ID information is not showing on the report, the call may have been "blocked" by the caller or your PBX (phone system) may not be configured to output Caller ID information. If you have verified that the PBX does output the information, for further assistance please call our Technical Assistance Center at 1-800-326-6183 to open a Service Ticket or email at: support-ifw@isi-info.com.
Q. Why when I create a report and try to save the report parameters, do I not have the option to "share the named report settings" as my Manager does?
A. This option will only display for those with Administrator level access privileges.
The Administrator can create either personal or shared settings. The shared settings are available to anyone with proper access privileges. The Non-Administrator can create only personal settings and the Share this report to all users check box is not available.
Q. Accounting is requesting a summary report that shows only the total cost for each department. When I run an organizational summary report, I see duration and count columns as well as cost. Is there anyway to modify this report to just have a total cost?
A. You cannot modify these reports; however, you can create a new summary style in order to give Accounting what they are requesting.
For more Information on creating summary styles, click on the Quick Reference: Reports.
Q. Will Outlook Express work for emailing my reports?
A. No. You will need full Outlook for IFW5.
