Q. I notice that for TM version 3.2 a Banner option is available for the main TM Web Browser Screen. How can I create a custom banner?
Creating a Banner

A. The login banner of the Telephony Manager Web login page can display a customized message. Create the file with the name LoginBannerCustom.htm and store the file under <tmroot>\Common Data\LoginBannerCustomFiles\Eng. If you do not intend to use any login banner message, then the LoginBannerCustom.htm file is left empty. A sample file called loginbannersample.htm is provided under <tmroot>\Application\loginbannerdefaultfiles\eng. This file contains the instructions for defining the custom LoginBannerCustom.htm file. It also contains the tags that can be used when defining the custom file. The login banner default message is stored in the loginbannerdefault.htm file which is present in the same directory as the loginbannersample.htm file.

Q. Where can I determine the license capacity for my TM software?
A. From the main TM Navigator screen, click the Utilities menu and select Count TN Licenses. This will show the number of licenses in use from the total license count. If you exceed the TN licensing, a warning will continuously appear until the system is upgraded with additional licensing.
