Call Accounting Outsourced

InfortelSM-TSB is ISI's service bureau-based call accounting solution. ISI's experienced telecom professionals manage the entire process of CDR collection, data storage, call processing and reporting so that you can concentrate on using the reports to manage your business.

Like ISI's other solutions, Infortel-TSB unlocks all the benefits associated with call accounting like:

  • Allocation of usage to responsible persons and cost centers
  • Notification and management of abuse and misuse
  • Monitoring of employee productivity
  • Trunk facility and usage analysis for network management and planning
  • Call logging for corporate security applications
  • Historical archive of telephone activity

Because Infortel-TSB is a fully outsourced service bureau solution, you avoid the purchase expense of hardware and software as ISI provides any necessary on-site CDR collection equipment and hosts the application on servers in the ISI data center.

You are also liberated from many of the tasks of administering a call accounting solution. Each customer is assigned a Customer Account Coordinator that works with your telecom staff to ensure your account is set up to deliver the desired results. ISI:

  • monitors the data collection process
  • updates the trunk facility inventory
  • maintains call costing and related rate tables
  • at month-end generates, checks and even distributes reports for you!

In most cases required customer intervention is limited to periodic update of the extension, user, cost center database.

Although Infortel-TSB removes the burden of ownership and management from your shoulders, you remain in control through ISI's web-based user interfaces.

  • WebDirectory gives you Internet browser access to the call accounting database so that you can review, add and update extension numbers, user names and organizational structure. WebDirectory also supports extension-based assignment of recurring equipment charges and one-time debits or credits to facilitate allocation of non-usage expenses through the call accounting reports.
  • CallBrowse provides you with on-demand access to costed call activity for generation of ad-hoc reports, activity searches and even graphical snapshots of usage. CallBrowse is updated each business morning so that you do not need to wait until month-end to see results and reap the benefits you expect from call accounting.

Infortel-TSB is designed for any size organization from dozens to thousands of users and one to hundreds of sites. The service is non-platform specific so it is a perfect way to provide uniform reporting in a multi-site multi-vendor environment. Collection and processing of call activity from non-PBX sources is also supported to provide consolidated reporting on the whole voice network including cellular, Centrex, calling card and VoIP server originated calls.
