04/15/08 ISI Telemanagement Solutions announces release of Infortel® Select Version 7.6 – significant advances for Cisco Unified Communications Users

Version 7.6 adds superior functionality for Telecom Reporting,
support for Windows Server 2008 and Avaya Survivable CDR feature

ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc., a leading global provider of comprehensive cost management solutions for voice, data, wireless and integrated communications, today announced the release of a new version of their award-winning Infortel® Select telecom billing and reporting product. This latest release, Version 7.6, brings a number of enhancements to the product, especially for Cisco’s Unified Communications Manager, as well as introducing support for Windows Server 2008 and the Avaya Survivable CDR feature.

“With Version 7.6, Infortel Select has added many valuable new features, including support for extension numbers greater than 10 Digits. We have increased the capacity of this field to help customers using SIP addresses as extensions. It is also helpful for customers in foreign countries where telephone numbers exceed 10 digits”, said Laura Dritt, Director of Product Management for ISI. Ms. Dritt continued, “In addition, Infortel Select now supports Windows Server 2008 and Avaya Survivable CDR. This new feature, available with Avaya Communications Manager 4.0, presents a new methodology for collecting CDR and ensures CDR collection and processing when the link to the switch is interrupted.”

For Cisco users, Infortel® Select Version 7.6 offers new Cause Code Reports providing insight into the reasons calls were terminated in Unified Communications Manager deployments. Neil Doughty, ISI’s Chief Operating Officer said, “These Cause Code Reports provide tools to assist Unified Communications Manager end users in system management, optimization and identifying failures. Our new Productivity Reports, along with the previously released Business Intelligence Reports, provide increased visibility into call volumes and handling, and demonstrate ISI’s commitment to supporting our customers in both traditional and IP Telephony environments.”
