Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Irwin Friedman is Chairman and controlling shareholder of ISI. He has more than 30 years experience as managing partner of the CPA firm Friedman, Eisenstein, Raemer & Schwartz, LLP. He is also Founder and Chairman of The Friedman Group, LLC, a Chicago-based business consulting firm focused on helping entrepreneurial ownership and management establish and achieve company goals. Mr. Friedman is widely acknowledged as a leader in developing business growth strategies, optimizing internal management processes and implementing successful financial strategies for organizations of all sizes.
Board Member and Advisor
Charles “Rick” Ruykhaver, Board of Directors Member and previous Executive Vice-President of Sales, advises ISI’s current Sales management team. After spending 12 years in various sales and management positions at Xerox Co., Mr. Ruykhaver joined ISI in 1980 as a District Sales Manager in the Boston, MA office. Mr. Ruykhaver is widely recognized as a leading expert in the field of Telecom Billing and Reporting systems and Telecom Expense Management.
Mark Friedman joined the ISI Management Team in 2008, and has served as the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President of Sales until his appointment to President of ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc. in 2013. In his role as President, Mr. Friedman manages ISI's sales team in their sale of ISI's products & services to direct customers and channel partners. This involves overseeing the Product Strategy Committee, including the development of ISI's strategic roadmap and the identification and adoption of new features, products and services. Mr. Friedman is also responsible for developing new strategic relationships with business partners while building deeper relationships with ISI's existing customers, resellers and suppliers.
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Hoctor joined ISI in 1999 as Controller. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2006. He is responsible for the financial reporting of the company as well as supervising the Accounting and IT Departments. Prior to ISI, Mr. Hoctor worked in various management and accounting positions for companies in the services and manufacturing industries. Mr. Hoctor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a certified public accountant.
Vice President, Partner & Enterprise Sales
Mark McNeill joined ISI in 2006 as Marketing Director and was promoted to his current position in June, 2011. He oversees all of ISI’s marketing and communications initiatives, including the company website, press releases, trade shows and collateral. In addition, Mr. McNeill is responsible for developing and managing many of ISI's strategic partners and resellers. Mr. McNeill has a 25+ year career in Telecommunications. Prior to joining ISI, Mr. McNeill held management positions in Sales and Marketing for AT&T, Ameritech, TelTrust and InterCall. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance), both from Boston University.
Director of Product Development
Kathy Learnan came to ISI as a Customer Service representative in our Technical Assistance Center in 1986. Over the years Kathy has been a member of ISI’s management team in Customer Service and Training departments. In her current position as Director of Product Development, Kathy is responsible for proactively seeking ways to improve our products and services; getting more involved with our prospects and customers to better understand their needs; and most critically, keeping in tune with the market, so we can make educated decisions on our future directions.
Vice President, Engineering
Mike Mestemaker joined the ISI team in March of 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader. Mike was promoted to Software Development Manager/System Architect in April of 2009, and again promoted in September of 2010 to Director of Engineering. In the role of Director of Engineering, Mike oversees both the Information Technology, Software Engineering, and Quality Assurance Departments, directing and prioritizing the programming of new software development as well as those efforts in the QA department. Prior to joining ISI, Mike worked as a Sr. Systems Analyst and Team Leader in the insurance industry. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.
Vice President, Customer Support Services
Susan Tylkowski came to ISI in November of 2000 as the Installations Manager. She was promoted to the Director of Customer Service in 2009. In July of 2012, Susan was promoted to her current position. Ms. Tylkowski is responsible for managing the Customer Support Team which includes Technical Support, On-site Installations and Project Management, CDRMS (Hosted) Implementation and Support along with the Sales Support Team. Susan is proud of ISI’s Customer Support team as she believes that a strong team is the key to success.
Vice President - Product Management
Dan Mueller joined ISI in 1994. He has over 15 years of telecommunications management experience. His expertise includes the implementation of voice, data and wireless network services, traffic/usage analysis and call detail reporting, and the development and management of outsourcing services for global clients. Mr. Mueller has extensive experience designing customized software applications and reporting for complex client requirements.
Vice President, Marketing & SMB Sales
Darek Latawski joined the ISI team in January 2009 as an Account Executive in Sales. In 2010, he was promoted to Marketing Manager. In 2012, he transitioned to the role of Director of Marketing. In his current role, Mr. Latawski oversees all marketing initiatives, including: strategy and execution of programs and campaigns, inbound and outbound lead generation, social media strategy, as well as print and digital art direction. Along with this, he manages the performance of an SEO strategy, which includes solidifying and ensuring consistency in the positioning and messaging of ISI's solutions. Mr. Latawski holds a Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Advertising from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Director, Unified Communications Products
Mitchell Weiss joined ISI in 1994. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from the Stuart School of Business in Chicago. He is an industry leader in all phases of managing Unified Communications. At ISI, Mr. Weiss is responsible for the vision, strategy, and implementation of a suite of Unified Communications products including Voice and Video Recording, SIP Trunk Management, and Traffic Management. Mr. Weiss also brings his knowledge of Cloud Computing to ISI, allowing the company to create new cloud based models for its software and services.
