SCHAUMBURG, Illinois - ISI, Inc. is pleased to announce the immediate
availability of our newest software release, Infortel Select 6.1.5.
Call Edit has been added to our web-based modules. Used in the Professional
Services market, users can reallocate account and matter codes via
the web, eliminating the need for client software, and allowing
them to perform changes from any PC that can access the Internet.
The web interface provides a much easier means of performing edits
while losing no functionality of the client/server-editing program.
There are two ways to enter the call edit function, from Control
Center/Administration/PSP Functions, or we can have users access
the call edit URL directly. Valid login information must be entered
from either access point.
Depending upon the user's access rights, selection of calls to
be edited can be limited to their own calls or any group of users.
The user can also select call criteria. Clicking OK will produce
the call edit spreadsheet:
The user can click on any of the columns (ext., name, phone no.,
etc.) to resort the display. Searches can be performed for account
and matter codes, and global assignment can be performed by simply
clicking on the box on the left side of the grid. Validating and
saving your changes will then update the call records in the Select
database.
As in the client/server call editing program, the system administrator
can control certain aspects of the displays. For example, the administrator
can pre-define selection parameters, such as account/matter choices,
minimum call cost and call type inclusion. This further adds to
the program's ease of use. The administrator also controls columns
produced in the spreadsheet.
Infortel Select 6.1.5 also contains other improvements. Directory
Import can now import the Home Site information and Billing Class
assignment. A new column reflecting cost per minute has also been
added to the Jurisdiction and Call Type Summary reports. Another
enhancement was made to the 3Com Collection routine to allow for
multiple collection routines throughout the day.
