8/13/03 Outsourced call-logging service to provide audit trail of corporate call activity

SCHAUMBURG, Illinois - ISI announces the release of Infortel Select Corporate Security. Infortel Select Corporate Security is an outsourced call-logging service, designed to provide businesses with an audit trail of corporate call activity.

Infortel Select Corporate Security is a low-cost alternative to full call accounting systems. It was created for companies of all sizes who only need to be on the lookout for abuse, fraud, espionage, harassment and other threats that can adversely impact a company.

Infortel Select Corporate Security is an outsourced solution, so customers do not have the capital investment of hardware and software, or the staffing necessary for an onsite call accounting system.

ISI collects call data at least once a day and processes it. In case of an emergency, immediate call collection is available. On-demand web browser access to calls and reports is available 24x7. Administrators can run searches for specific call activity, or run a variety of reports, based on definable criteria. ISI generates monthly summary and exception reports and sends them to the customer.

ISI offers three optional services to provide enhanced security and added benefits:

  • Frequent Polling: call activity is collected and made available for web reporting several times per day.
  • TrunkWatch: reports are emailed to designated recipients each business morning, alerting them to potential abuse, misuse and fraud based upon user-defined thresholds of acceptability.
  • FraudAlert: real-time alarms are sent via alphanumeric pager to notify designated recipients of call activity exceeding defined thresholds.
