ISI Introduces VoIP Tracking |
SCHAUMBURG, IL - ISI, Inc. announces the addition of VoIP View,
a new way to track, report and bill-back Voice Over IP traffic.
ISI has developed the VoIP View product in support of Cisco?s (CSCO)
Architecture for Voice, Video and integrated Data (AVVID). This
product offers accounting and billing solutions for both small and
large enterprise accounts. VoIP View collects the Call Detail Records
from Cisco?s CallManager platform and generates customizable reports
for both internal charge back and cost accounting requirements.
VoIP View can also provide call accounting for traditional voice
networks and combinations of traditional voice and Cisco?s VoIP
networks. VoIP View can be used to allocate VoIP costs within an
organization, provide productivity reporting and fraud control,
and bill-back to clients.
Once VoIP View captures Cisco CallManager data, the data is rated
and processed for reporting. Users then have access to the robust
rating, reporting and report scheduling, billing, and report distribution
features that ISI products are known for.
VoIP View was launched at the June Cisco Networkers 2000 Annual
Users Conference in Las Vegas. ISI exhibited in the World of Solutions
pavilion and demonstrated VoIP View by showing actual live VoIP
data, captured from calls made by exhibitors and attendees on the
show floor via Cisco IP telephones. ISI also provided VoIP billing
for the Las Vegas Conference, as well as the Orlando Networkers
2000 Conference in July, providing bills to the exhibitors for their
VoIP use at the show.
"ISI offers flexible accounting and billing solutions within
the enterprise voice and data markets," said Bill Erdman, Director
of Marketing within Cisco?s Enterprise Voice Business Unit. "ISI
has worked closely with Cisco in the development of their IP accounting
solution including a comprehensive understanding of the underlying
Voice over IP Telephony technologies. We believe that Cisco customers
will find the VoIP View application extremely beneficial when tracking
and accounting for call usage data across IP infrastructures."
Cisco CallManager is the intelligent call-processing software component
of Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data).
Cisco AVVID is designed to integrate all communications into a single
infrastructure, providing a single point of management, administration
and control for convergent networks. Installed on highly reliable
servers, Cisco CallManager provides signaling and call control services
to Cisco integrated multimedia applications as well as third-party
applications. Cisco CallManager is central to the distributed architecture
of Cisco AVVID. The product can be distributed and clustered over
an IP network, thereby allowing scalability to 10,000 users and
triple call processing redundancy.
ISI (formerly ISI Infortext) is a leading provider of on-site and
service bureau telemanagement and cable management solutions. Their
suite of call accounting products can fit any size company and budget.
