ISI Releases New Version of Infortel for Windows |
SCHAUMBURG, IL - ISI's new Infortel for Windows has evolved into
a full-featured, powerful enterprise management call accounting
tool, with its version 5.0. While it retains its ease of use, Infortel
for Windows is now scalable, with a greater ability to grow with
an organization. It works for companies with as few as 100 or as
many as 30,000 extensions efficiently and effectively.
Key benefits of the Infortel for Windows 5.0 release are the new
client/server platform of SQL, the improved and rewritten reporting
package and enhanced alarm capabilities. There are also new modules
available with 5.0: a Lodging module and a Professional Services
Module.
The new SQL database engine makes for a more powerful and robust
solution. Infortel for Windows Desktop, the solution for companies
with 100 to 7,500 extensions uses MSDE - the Microsoft Database
Engine - a royalty-free version of SQL server with a maximum of
five concurrent users. Infortel for Windows Enterprise uses MS SQL
Server 7.0 and can accommodate up to 30,000 extensions and is scalable
to tens of millions of call records and up to 100 sites.
The reporting module has many new key features, like user-defined
summary reports, e-mail merge report distribution and significantly
enhanced trunk analysis. The enhanced alarm module features more
complex alarm definitions, new alarm delivery options and multiple
pages.

solutions including Infortel-TSB, a sophisticated outsourcing service
bureau, and Infortel-CMS, an easy-to-use cable management system.
