SCHAUMBURG, IL - ISI today announced that it has released the 5.2 version of its award-winning Infortel for Windows (IFW) software. IFW 5.2 enhances the features released in version 5.0 and includes new reporting capabilities and call rating functionality.

Redesign of Text Reports
All reports have been redesigned for easier readability, and using feedback from our customers, some reports have had columns added or deleted. Two new report types are included: the Allocation Report which can be used to reconcile a company?s phone bill; and the No Calls Report, which is useful for keeping track of any unused stations that can be reused or removed from service.

Graphical Reports
More than 15 new graphical reports have been added, using the standard charting capabilities of Crystal Reports. Graphical representation of data is not only pleasing to the eye; it also makes trend analysis much easier to comprehend. Graphical reporting is presented in the following formats:

• Column Chart: vertical columns can be used to show side-by-side comparisons of specific values and separate items such as number of calls per department, or multiple types of data such as number of local, long distance and international calls per department.
• Line Chart: provides trends over time intervals, such as calls per hour by extension.
• Pie Chart: compare piece sizes in a whole unit totaling 100%, such as percentage of local, long distance and international calls by extension or department.

Graphical reports can be created and distributed on a scheduled basis via email, network drive and network printer. Scheduled email reports are sent as attachments in various formats, including RTF, Excel or native Crystal.

International Call Costing
Infortel for Windows now supports systems installed overseas with the ability to accommodate international point of origin costing. ISI currently has support for:

• Australia
• Belgium
• Canada
• Great Britian
• Hong Kong
• Japan
• Singapore

with more to be offered. These rate tables are available on a subscription basis, along with our tables for domestic rating. Tariff costs can be set in multiple currencies, as needed, and converted to base currency. ISI has also incorporated Value Added Tax functionality to accommodate the type of tax methodology used overseas and in Canada.

Directory Enhancements
Duplicate extension handling has been improved, to prevent data-entry errors. A warning is displayed when an administrator attempts to add a duplicate extension, which usually occurs due to user error. The system alerts you that the extension already exists and asks if you want to give it to the new person.

There's also a new way to edit people. When you highlight a department in the left-hand pane of the Directory screen, the people listed in the right-hand pane of the screen, similar to the way Windows Explorer shows directories and files. Double-clicking the name in the right-hand pane opens the edit screen for that person.
