ISI and Percepia Team up for Lodging IP Software
Solutions |
Schaumburg, IL -ISI, Inc., one of the nation?s largest telemanagement
companies, and Percipia, a powerhouse in hospitality communication
products, team up to provide solid IP solutions for the hospitality
market.
Both companies are Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and
Data) partners, and have united to provide a unified Cisco solution
for lodging properties who are converting or installing Cisco CallManager
IP Telephony networks. This provides a strong base of support for
customers, as well as a total Cisco solution shortening installation
and training time.
HOW IT WORKS
Each IP lodging installation needs several parts:
- A switch
- A call accounting system
- A Property Management System (PMS)
- An interface between the switch and PMS to provide the front
desk with a means to enable and disable guest phones on check-in
and out
With the new relationship between ISI and Percipia, a lodging customer
can get a Cisco CallManager switch, as well as the switch to PMS
interface from Percipia and the call accounting software from ISI.
The PMS can be the existing PMS or a new version, depending on what
the customer wants, since Percipia and ISI?s solutions work with
almost every PMS system manufactured.
Since ISI and Percipia have a strong working relationship, the
customer benefits from a streamlined implementation, installation
and training process.
