Increased Flexibility in Infortel Select Version
7.1 |
ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc. (ISI), a leader in voice, data
and wireless communications cost management, today announced the
release of Infortel Select 7.1, its industry leading Call Accounting
application. ISI has added significant flexibility to Infortel Select's
reporting and billing capabilities maintaining its leadership as
the most comprehensive and easy-to-use tool on the market. ISI has
also enhanced Infortel Select's security capabilities and expanded
support of Cisco's CallManager 4.0.
Infortel Select's reporting engine now offers user-determined threshold
reporting. Users may generate summary reports based upon events
exceeding user-set limits for cost, number of calls or call duration.
These new reporting capabilities may be used across the entire organization,
by trunk or by extensions, giving administrators the ability to
quickly pinpoint problem areas without sifting through pages of
unrelated data.
Infortel Select 7.1 has also enhanced Organizational and Tenant
Billing Detail reports to give users more flexibility. Now users
may select the specific types of calls to be included in detail
reporting to allow them to more easily focus on key areas like long
distance calling, for example, while other call data is summarized
at a higher level. This is ideal for tenant billing applications
where long distance calling must be reported in detail, while summarized
data may be all that is required for other call types. It is another
way Infortel Select helps to simplify cost management by supplying
essential and focused data.
Release 7.1 also includes a new web version of the Expanded Organization
Summary report and the ability to streamline detail and summary
reports by excluding fixed charges. The new version simplifies system
administration by providing the ability to customize extension types.
Users can now create their own extension types with billing descriptions
assignable to people rather than the assigned trunk line for pricing
calls using a specific rating methodology.
Security has been enhanced in release 7.1 through reporting that
indicates what system modules users access, what report modules
are selected and which reports are generated. A User Transaction
Log is provided to capture user name, date, time, module accessed,
specific reports generated and log-in and log-out times. Infortel
Select now also provides for date-based, automatic expiration of
user IDs and passwords, which greatly simplifies the administration
of temporary system access IDs.
Infortel Select takes full advantage of Cisco CallManager's ability
to mark a call as 'malicious', while the call is in progress. Infortel
Select uses this data to report on this specific call type using
ANI digits to track all calls considered to be harassing or malevolent.
Infortel Select also accepts the authorization and account code
data from CallManager and can even import directory information
to create a single point of entry for users. Its improved interface
with CallManager is indicative of Infortel Select 7.1's theme of
streamlined processes and ease-of-use.
