Infortel for Windows Now Compatible with Verizon's
Instant Call Accounting |
SCHAUMBURG, IL - ISI is pleased to announce that the newest addition
to their call accounting products, Infortel for Windows, is now
compatible with Verizon?s Instant Call Accounting. This service
provides near real-time data, on a direct or dial-up basis, from
1AESS, 5ESS and DMS-100 Central Office switch types. ICA and Infortel
for Windows allows CentraNet users to gain the same call accounting
benefits as companies with on-site PBXs; as CentraNet phone bills
simply don?t offer the data available from Infortel for Windows.
Instant Call Accounting provides telephone call data for CentraNet
customers that includes the station number, number called, date,
time, call duration for toll, local, and other types of telephone
calls (FX, tie, etc.). This information is useful for departmental
billing, project billing, budgetary impact and abuse detection.
The data is sent from the Central Office switch to an applications
processor, via RS-232 connectivity, which stores the information
until retrieved by the Infortel for Windows Call Accounting system.
This applications processor, manufactured by Teltronics, can collect
SMDR information for multiple customers.
Infortel for Windows connects to the applications processor via
traditional dial-up routines. On an automatic, pre-scheduled basis,
Infortel for Windows will connect to the applications processor
and retrieve the appropriate customer?s SMDR data, and transmit
the information to the main Infortel for Windows system that is
installed at the customer location. The call records are then processed,
stored and ready for report generation.
The customer now has access to all Infortel for Windows features
and benefits. It offers flexibility, extensive reports that can
be automatically emailed, and very few operational constraints.
Infortel for Windows comes in two flavors:
Infortel for Windows Desktop
Geared towards companies with up to 7,500 stations and up to two
million call records, it utilizes Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE),
which is a royalty-free version of SQL Server. MSDE uses 32-bit
technology to provide multi-tasking capabilities and superior speed
of operation. This lower cost database engine provides an economical
option for small to mid-range companies, plus offers full scalability
to a true enterprise system. Infortel for Windows Desktop allows
up to five concurrent users. The system runs on Windows 95, 98,
Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems.
Infortel for Windows Enterprise
This true client/server system can accommodate up to 30,000 stations
and a virtually unlimited amount of call records, which is based
only upon available disk space. This system is geared towards larger
companies or firms in need of more than five concurrent users. Infortel
for Windows Enterprise is also ideal for companies that desire a
platform for future growth. It utilizes client/server technology
and the powerful SQL Server database and runs on Windows NT Advanced
Server operating system. |
