ISI releases new version of Infortel-NT |
Schaumburg, IL - ISI announces the newest version of Infortel-NT,
a Windows NT-based telemanagement solution that utilizes its Strategic
Reporting Engine to provide instant access to call-accounting data
by printed report, on-screen client/server inquiry, email reports
and even World Wide Web queries. Infortel-NT's new release of the
Strategic Reporting Engine 2.0 (SRE 2.0) allows for easier ways
to manage, create and distribute call accounting data. SRE 2.0 allows
for graphic reporting, making trend analysis easier to comprehend
and uses the standard charting capabilities of Microsoft Excel to
provide the graphic reporting.
Infortel-NT's SRE 2.0 also provides reporting and directory capabilities
over the World Wide Web, which eliminates the necessity of extraneous
client licenses for users requesting on-demand-reporting capabilities
and reduces the costs to the customer, as well as saving on installation
time. Users can access reports through Web Reporting and search
their Personnel and Organizational Directories through the Web Directory.
Infortel-NT's SRE 2.0 has made significant improvements to Report
Formatting, allowing the format of any report to be user-defined,
while two new options to SRE 2.0 are the Report Exporter and the
ability to save reports in folders. Report Exporter is a server-based
utility that allows Infortel-NT call accounting data to be exported
in a user-defined ASCII format, while saving the reports in folders
enables organization of reports, report sorting into categories
and separating reports created by different individuals.
Infortel-NT's Rate Server offers flexibility in defining costing
methodologies to the Call Accounting Module. Of significant interest
is the availability of up to four billing classes, which allows
different cost parameters to be defined to particular station numbers.
This enhanced rating system now offers postalized rate structures
without custom rate table development. Other features include:
- Sixteen Call Types for specific costing
- User-definable rating intervals for rounding and per second
billing
- Enhanced operator-assisted structures for call types
- Other common carrier for additional long distance carriers
- Software-defined network digit translation for abbreviated digit
dialing
- Enhanced skim time and minimum duration definitions are user-definable
Departmental reports are now easier to create and distribute with
Mail Merge Reporting. Mail Merge Reporting allows specific portions
of one report to be distributed automatically to the department
manager. These reports only contain the data for the departments
defined to the manager in the Group Administration application and
are distributed via email or can be sent to a network printer.
Infortel-NT's message collection system can now collect SMDR via
a FTP file server, eliminating dial-up routines to buffer boxes
and utilizing the customer¡|s existing Local or Wide Area
Network. LAN/WAN connectivity also provides much faster data transmission
and eliminates the potential problems and unreliability of dial-up
modem connections.
Since 1977, ISI has been an industry leader in the designing, manufacturing
and marketing of PC-based, cost-recovery systems. These products
allow telephone, copier and other office equipment costs to be charged
back to clients or captured and allocated to internal departments.
Law firms, accounting firms, higher education, lodging industries,
