Summary of Responsibilities:
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for proactively calling existing dealers to build relationships and position the company's product offerings and services via phone and emails efforts in the pursuit of successful and profitable sales of the company's products and services.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides active account management activities including working with ISI dealers
- Conducts cold calling into prospective accounts to generate new business and revenue for ISI
- Proactively follows up via phone and email to ensure that customer expectations are met
- Educates and communicates the ISI value proposition and solution offerings to new customers
- Maintains accurate and timely forecasts, consistent with ISI guidelines and up to date as each opportunity progresses through the sales cycle
- Establishes and maintains a strong, positive working relationship with customers and colleagues
- Follows up on inbound customer inquiries, provide quotes and lead generation results
- Performs additional duties as required to help the company meet and exceed sales goals and quality objectives
- Conduct activities and adhere to the highest moral, ethical and professional standards at all times.
Educational Requirements:
High School degree required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, science or other related discipline preferred.
Skill Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in sales, outbound telemarketing and/or lead generation, or related field, selling or marketing telecommunications and/or technical products/services
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or negotiating with customers
- Basic knowledge of telecommunication solutions (such as Cisco, Avaya or Nortel)
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport over the phone
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and appropriately at all levels of the organization and with external contacts
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to learn and maintain technical knowledge on ISI offerings
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to utilize sales contact management databases efficiently and accurately
