ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc., a full-service telecom solutions company located in Schaumburg, Illinois, is currently in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst to add to our team. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for full regression and/or validation testing of all software products to determine if they qualify as delivery-ready products. Testing will include enhancements and bug fixes to products as distributed by Engineering or Product Management. Review of all users documents, manuals and training materials distributed to the customer base will also require verification and validation by the Quality Assurance Analyst.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- TESTING: Validation and verification testing of all ISI products or their parts distributed to determine if distribution to the customer base meets quality objectives and specifications as outlined by Engineering and/or Product Management. Must be able to create detailed test plans using Product Requirement Documentation and design notes kept on on-line systems in house.
- DOCUMENTATION: Validation and verification of all user documents, manuals and training materials meet the requirements of quality standards and specifications as outlined by Engineering and/or Product Management.
- COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to all team members which include; Quality Assurance Manager, VP Engineering, Software Programmers, Product Managers, Technical Support Engineers and the Executive VP. Of Software Development and Support.
- REPORTING: Report all test results and properly distribute problems back to Engineering and Product Management in a timely manner. Responsibilities include a summary test at the conclusion of all validation and verification and review of any product, part of a product, or written documentation that is passed to Quality Assurance as a test requirement necessary for delivery to the customer base.
- FINAL EVALUATION: The Quality Assurance Analyst will report whether a product, part of a product, or written documentation is suitable for delivery to the customer base. The Quality Assurance Analyst will have all test results available for distribution to department team leaders, President and VP's.
Education and Experience:
BS degree in Computer Science or 6 years experience in a QA product testing function; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of four years experience in a QA function primarily performing full system testing, Unit Testing and Full Regression testing. Individual must have a minimum of 1 year experience in developing Test Scripts utilizing Test Complete. Candidate must have experience using Symantec Ghost and a working knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft IIS. Candidates must have working knowledge of Windows 2000, Microsoft XP, and Microsoft Vista. Candidate must have the ability to write SQL queries used to verify results.
Experience with Microsoft Silverlight and other web technologies are desirable. Ideal candidate will also have a basic knowledge of software development in a VB.NET environment and have familiarity of source management tools.
