This is a new position created to promote sales of ISI's Managed Services offerings. The successful candidate will assist ISI field sales representatives with prospect qualification, consultation, solution pricing and proposal preparation on call detail reporting opportunities for which an ISI hosted solution would be suitable. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required - this individual will be called upon to articulate the benefits of a managed services (SaaS) solution and formulate a value proposition based upon customer-specific attributes. Candidates must be available for travel as needed. This position reports to the VP of Managed Services.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales support in the telecom industry
- Experience in support of both dealer and direct channel accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Lives within reasonable driving distance of ISI's Schaumburg office
- Familiarity with call detail reporting technology and applications would be a plus
Salary:
- Base salary commensurate with candidate's experience + opportunity for override commission on assisted sales
Responsibilities:
- Develop an expert level of familiarity with ISI's SaaS Call Accounting offerings
- Assist VP Managed Services in developing a more SaaS-centric culture
- Provide 2nd level sales support as required on larger, unique or high profile SaaS and on-site opportunities
- Proposal, RFI and RFP preparation
- Product demos
- Participate in customer presentations via web share or in person as needed
- Develop project-specific statement of work documentation
- Participate in pre-sales calls with prospect and sales rep to identify SaaS opportunities
- Design needs-centric SaaS solutions to optimize customer benefit
- Coach sales reps to become more self-sufficient in SaaS solution selling
- Provide market feedback to Product Management for product enhancement
- Assist VP Managed Services in developing and maintaining SaaS documentation
- Assist VP Managed Services in development and execution of SaaS campaigns and promotions
- Increase success ratio on closing new SaaS business
- Increase revenues for SaaS solutions
- Assist VP Managed Services in tracking results for all above activities
