Inside Channel Sales Executive

Compensation Structure: Salary plus commission

Summary of Responsibilities:

ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc. is expanding and growing our inside sales team with multiple positions available focusing on reseller partner opportunities! We are seeking sales professionals who are hunters; experienced in the “sell-through” process with resellers/partners and who have been successful at high-activity driven inside sales. If you are a proactive, enthusiastic & energetic sales driver, our team at ISI would be the PERFECT fit for you!

As a highly motivated sales professional, the Inside Channel Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads and identifying sales opportunities with existing reseller partners in order to build and develop positive relationships and ensure that all key partners are fully engaged and actively promoting ISI products and services to end users.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Prospecting, Lead Qualification, Opportunity Identification, Sales Process Management (70%)
  1. Extend relationship penetration in additional locations of existing partners
  2. Qualify leads or prospects produced from partner marketing programs or co-marketing programs
  3. Use cold calling, warm calling, emailing, WebEx conferencing, etc. to qualify leads, identify opportunities, and progress deals to close
  4. Engage appropriate team resources during the sales cycle, including Sales Support, Product/Services teams, and others as needed
  5. Manage healthy sales pipeline, and drive new business/partner development to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Partner Relationship & Life Cycle Management (20%)
  1. Ensure all reseller partner contracts and agreements are fully executed and filed, as required
  2. Manage onboarding, introduction, orientation, and training process of new partners as assigned
  3. Conduct Partner Profiling including researching, interviewing and capturing all appropriate data needed
  4. Perform periodic virtual educational sessions with partner teams as appropriate, to update new products/services and deepen mindshare
  5. Maintain regular contact strategy with the key sales leaders and decision-makers at assigned reseller partners
  6. Identify periodic appropriate participation in partner events for end-user customers, user groups, or other prospects
  7. Collect continual structured feedback and marketplace insights (“Voice of the Partner”)
  8. Join, monitor and participate in appropriate social media, such as LinkedIn groups, for assigned partners
Reporting (5%)
  1. Submit weekly performance tracking reports for review by management (New Opportunities, Pre-Proposal Funnel, Activities reports, etc.)
  2. Ensure activity in the Proposal Log is current and up-to-date
  3. Keep CRM database updated in accordance with timing and content standards
Knowledge / Training (5%)
  1. Represent ISI by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of ISI products/services, industry trends, how ISI best serves partner needs, and partners’ end-user customer needs
  2. Fully leverage all partner communication, marketing and enablement materials to be provided in ISI’s The Source/Partner Portal, and extend appropriately to partners for their use
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange selling strategies and partner relationship and development strategies
  4. Participate in regular sales training and unit meetings; attendance at area trade shows and/or partner location visits may be possible.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 3+ years successful sales experience in a reseller or channel sales environment selling or marketing telecommunications, software, or technical products/services
  • Demonstrated experience in inside sales/lead generation, customer service and negotiating with customers
  • Knowledge of telecommunication solutions (such as Cisco, Avaya or Nortel) and understanding of a converged communications environment, including VoIP, video and data networking
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport over the phone and in written communications

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or other related discipline preferred
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and appropriately at all levels of the organization and with external contacts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to learn and maintain technical knowledge of ISI offerings
  • Ability to utilize sales contact management databases efficiently and accurately
  • Computer literacy is necessary, including MS Office Suite, CRM software, and web-based tools
  • Must live within a 45 minute driving distance of our Schaumburg, IL office
